UPDATE - tea stains on my couch

I lucked out. The tea did not stain the couch, I'm not entirely sure what protected it from certain doom. It could have been the fact that it was a light colored tea, so it wouldn't have left a mark regardless of what I did, or the quick action of Spot Shot. My sister suggested that because the couch is microfiber it's less likely to absorb stains, though I'm not sure how much I believe that as there is ink on my couch and I can't get it off. (I haven't tried the spot shot on it yet, maybe I should).

Regardless of what saved it I'm really happy there isn't a giant water stain on the couch, I can stomach a spot of ink, but water stains look gross.
